Protein Chia Pancakes!

Hey my Cuties!

Thank you for all of your comments on my first WIAW (well, I called it What Kat Ate Wednesday, but I digress). I really loved doing it. WIAW is so much fun — I’ll have to do it. 😀 On another note, one of my readers had a question about what I posted. You can read it here.

I have been striving to listen to my body and give it what it wants — tuning in to the signals it gives me.

And recently, it has been wanting PANCAKES.

Do you like Pancakes?

I absolutely ADORE Pancakes! If I don’t have oatmeal in the morning, it’s because I’m having pancakes. I absolutely LOVE my morning oats, so if I am going to have something else, it had better be good.

Not only are these delicious, they are also packed full of protein and fill you up!

Click here for my recipe. I’m blogging over at Alex’s Blog today. She is a girl living a Sugar-Free Life, and she is such an amazing person inside and out. Go check out my recipe, and then check out her story. And if you could answer the third question on my post, that would be amazing. 😀

EDITED: Here’s the printable version. Print This!

  1. Hmmm..deliciously looking pancakes! And I love blackberries, I am eating a huge bowl full of blackberries on a daily basis now 🙂 Kat, I read your response to the reader´s question and I believe you know what you are doing and your are listening to your body. Some of your meals might look a bit unbalanced but you always make up for it with the next meal. I do it in a similar way. I don´t always want to have protein or fat or carbs, but when I don´t it them in one meal, I eat them in another.

  2. That has got to be one of the biggest most beautiful stacks of pancakes I have ever seen in all my days. Blackberries aren’t my favorite, but you make them look scrumptious!

And as for that question/comment you got. I seriously don’t know a single person who LITERALLY posts EVERYTHING that passed through their mouths for their WIAW post. I know that I sure don’t.

  3. Ah great guest post! Pancakes are amazing for sure, and yours look especially amazing! 😀

You might be able to sub applesauce for the egg whites… with some protein powder?

Oh and I wanted to say how nice it is that you always thank us for our comments. I think we should be thanking you for all your amazing posts and recipes, so thank you! 😀

    ❤ ❤

  4. I dont even remember the last time I had pancakes!!
Im impressed with how high you stacked them!

  5. Thanks so much for doing the guest post, Kat! Everyone LOVED them! Can’t wait to make them for myself when I get back 😀

  6. Those pancakes looked great, Kat! Thanks for answering my question about the chia seeds.

Just wanted to give you props for the way you handled that formspring question. A lot of people would have let a question like that get to them, but you handled it with class and positivity. Nice!
