Kat’s Homemade Guacamole

Who needs a lots of ingredients to make a delicious dip?

While serving among the Hispanic community, I learned how to make guacamole! It’s super simple, super delicious, and super nutritious, and now I’m sharing it with you!

Cut avocados in half, remove seeds, and peel off the skin. Mash avocados with a fork or potato masher until smooth but still chunky

Add diced tomato, chopped onion, lemon juice, and salt and stir all together.

Place plastic wrap directly on top of the guacamole’s surface (to help prevent and stick in the fridge for 30 minutes to cool off, and serve!

Kat’s Homemade Guacamole

  • 5 medium avocados, slightly soft
  • 1 medium Roma tomato, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 1-2 tbsp juice)
  • 1/2 tsp of salt, or to taste

Makes about 3 cups.

Nutrient information per 1/4 cup: 176 kcalories, 16 g fat, 3.5 g saturated fat, 103 mg sodium, 434 mg potassium, 8.4 g carbohydrates, 5.9 g fiber, 1 g sugar, 1.8 g protein.
