#EatYourFruitsAndsVeggies Day 1

One way to incorporate more fruits and vegetables is finding ways to include them into meals you already enjoy. One of my favorite ways to eat them is in a smoothie. 

Tonight my fiancé and I enjoyed a pumpkin smoothie: with a banana and pumpkin purée mixed in, it was a delicious, nutritious treat! He could barely tell we were eating fruits and vegetables! 


This is the recipe we used, with a few adjustments (since we didn’t have all of the ingredients). We used cinnamon in place of the spices, almond milk in place of soy milk, and a little honey (for him) and stevia (for me). It was a delicious treat before heading back to our apartments to continue with our chemistry homework. 

Talking about chemistry, I should go back to studying!
